I really do hope that by creating UNWIRED, at least one person will learn something. I hope that at least one person will think, "That's so cool!" That at at least one person is inspired to not just stop at memorizing, but at wondering how. Because one person inspired is one more individual who holds the endless power of curiosity. And curiosity is the key to making the world a better place.
Josh is a student-athlete dedicated to giving back to his community. His outreach covers many aspects from volunteer tutoring with Learn To Be to developing an app that collects real-time data from a wearable. This app has been used in real underprivileged communities to help athletes like him gain the data they need to improve.
Josh also has experience in various fields such as coding, engineering, psychology, and education. Having cross-applied his knowledge from STEM, psychology, and education, he assisted Professor Worsley in researching and developing technologies that propel learning while simultaneously implementing them into Chicago Public Schools.
His end goal is to try and implement the soft skills that come with psychology such as teaching and human interaction and try and implement that into technology. He sees a vision where AI and computers can gain human skills and be helpful in broader aspects such as education or social work.
