I primarily use borrowed books and Youtube videos to gain the knowledge that I need, as well as the occasional Google search, of course. While I'm collecting all of this information, I take notes on the Apple Notes app that is divided into different sections based on what category the facts fall under.
After I have all the notes and information about the topic, I filter out what I see as unnecessary and shouldn't be included in the podcast episode. This helps me maintain a better focus for the episode. Then, I gather the informantion together and put it into words based on which catergory I put it under. This will serve as the first draft of the script, and I'll continue to edit and refine more.
And then, once I finalize my script, I use Apple Voice Memos to record, rerecord, and edit my speech. Once I'm satisfied , I'll upload the recording to Spotify and write a small description for the episode. And then, I'll add the title, release a few announcements, and finally update the website.
